「Happo-one, Mountain Climbing Mood, Ski Jumping Feeling」
５月４日 八方尾根・登山気分・スキージャンプ感覚だぞ

security cameras, swimming pools and watered plants,

for a jog via the statue of old guy with lion body.
体がライオンのおっさん経由で走りました。

and Kaito woke up, ate breakfast,
Tina姫とKaitoマンは起きて、朝食を食べて、

watered plants.
Tina姫は植物に水をやりました。

9 AM, we left home for Hakuba district. Kaito and I were supposed to go skiing
to Happo-one but it closed due to early snow melt so we decided to go sightseeing
there.
９時頃、白馬地区へ向けて出発しました。KaitoマンとTorojiro先生は八方尾根へスキーに行く予定でしたが、早い雪解けで、クローズしたのです。なので観光に出かけることにしました。

11 AM, we arrived at the supermarket “The Big” Hakuba branch, bought lunch then
１１時頃、白馬のザ・ビッグに着いて、昼食を買って、

it in HIACE.
ハイエース内で食べました。

12:20, we walked to the gondola station from Nakiyama parking.
１２：２０頃、名木山駐車場からゴンドラ駅まで歩きました。

12:45, we took gondola. It was Ichina’s first time to take gondola.
１２；４５ゴンドラに乗りました。Tina姫はゴンドラに乗るのが初めてでした。

is Usagidaira Station.
ここはうさぎ平駅です。

that, we took Alpen Quad lift. We could see Usagidaira course, Kurobishi course
and beautiful scenery.
その後、アルペンクワッドに乗りました。兎平コース、黒菱コース、キレイな景色が見えました。

played with snow and Ichina found snowman then said “Yukidaru san = snowman”
雪で遊んで、Tina姫は雪だるまを見つけて「雪だるさん～」と言いました。

that, we took the last chair lift, Grat Quad lift, found the start point of the
downhill race of Nagano Winter Olympics Game in 1998 then got to the top.
それから、最後のグラートクワッドリフトに乗って、１９９８年長野オリンピックのダウンヒルスタート地点を見て、頂上に着きました。

had a short break around the exit of Grat Quad,
グラートクワッド出口付近で小休憩して、

for 5 minutes then got to the fine view observation point.
５分歩いて、キレイな展望地点に着きました。

had a precious time there.
貴重な時間を過ごしました。

downline lift feels scary but Ichina didn’t care about it.
下り線は怖く感じるのですが、Tina姫は気にしませんでした(笑)

walked back to the parking and got there around 2:30 PM.
駐車場まで歩いて戻り、２時半頃着きました。
↑Following
that, Kaito visited the top of Happo-one again together with Tamami.
それからKaitoマンはもう一度八方尾根頂上へTamamiさんと行きました。
↑Kaito
explained about Happo-one he knows and Tamami really realized Kaito is a great
guide. Actually, Kaito came here 5 times and he is really interested in chair
lift lines and courses so he knows everything about Happo-one more than me.
Kaitoマンは八方尾根について知っていることをTamamiさんに説明しました。TamamiさんはKaitoマンはすごいガイドだと分かりました。実際Kaitoマンは八方に来るのは５回目ですが、相当リフト好きですし、コースも調べているので、２０回以上は来ているTorojiro先生よりよっぽど八方の全てを知っています。

that time, Ichina and I visited the Big supermarket and bought snack and
souvenir for our guests tomorrow.
その時、Tina姫とTorojiro先生はザ・ビッグに行ってお菓子と明日のお客さんへお土産を買いました。

had a rest because she was very tired from visiting high altitude place, more
than 6,000 feet.
Tina姫は休憩しました。２０００ｍを越える場所に行って、疲れていたからです。攻める２歳児でした(笑)！

that, we picked Kaito and Tamami up at the gondola station, we visited Hakuba
ski jump hill.
その後、KaitoマンとTamamiさんをゴンドラ乗り場で乗せて、白馬ジャンプ台を訪れました。
↑Finally,
Kaito took the chair lift line, that he couldn’t get on though it beside
Happo-one ski field. He found that the lift
line has 61 chairs and 8 posts.
ついにKaitoマンは、八方尾根の横にあるのに乗れなかったリフトに乗りました。イスが６１台、柱が８本だと分かりました。

the lift, we took an elevator then got to the observation room. Japan team won
gold medal in large hill ski jumping competition in 1998, Nagano Winter
Olympics game here.
リフトの後、エレベーターに乗って、展望部屋に着きました。1998年、長野オリンピックでラージヒルで日本チームが金メダルを取りました。

walked up to the starting point of large hill. Scary!
ラージヒルのスタート地点まで歩いて行きました。怖いです～

pretended to ski jump.
Kaitoマンはスキージャンプのふりをしました。

are a lot of exhibits related to Olympics.
オリンピックに関するたくさんの展示物があります。

is the start point of normal hill.
ノーマルヒルスタート地点です。

that, we took the downline lift.
それから、下り線に乗りました。

the foot of this hill, Ichina and Kaito did a telemark pose.
ジャンプ台の麓で、Tina姫とKaitoマンはテレマーク姿勢をきめました(笑)

that, we walked around the landing area,
着地地点で歩き回って、

up to the top of audience seats then left there around 5 PM.
観客席の一番上まで歩いて上がって、５時頃現地を出ました。

were so tired that Ichina and Tamami decided to take a nap like our bedroom.
とても疲れたので、Tina姫とTamamiさんは家の寝室のように昼寝をすることにしました。

the way back, the mileage of HIACE became 7,000 (about 4375 miles)
帰り道にハイエースの距離が７０００ｋｍになりました。

late dinner around 9 PM,
９時頃、遅い夕食を食べて、

a bath quickly, read picture books then went to bed.
お風呂に素早く入って、絵本を読んで寝ました。
