↑When I was watering plants, it started raining so

  植物に水をやっている時に雨が降ってきたので、

 

 

 

↑I dried clothes inside.

  室内に洗濯物を干しました。

 

 

 

↑I played together with Ichina and Kaito then

  Tina姫、Kaitoマンと遊んで、

 

 

 

↑left for school.

  学校へ行きました。

 

 

 

↑I worked hard as usual.

  いつも通り働きました。

 

 

 

↑Kaito always calculates as I’m doing all the time. Now, Kaito is calculating dried laver. We measured that one laver is 9.8 cm. Kaito says “1 laver is 9.8 cm, 2 lavers are 19.6 cm 3 lavers are 29.4 cm 4 lavers are 39.2 cm ........” he can do it in his head. I’m familiar with an abacus and was working for Tonga for 2 years as an abacus volunteer so of course I can make it. I haven’t taught how to calculate in mental to him. What happened??

  KaitoマンはTorojiro先生が常にやっているようにいつも計算しています。今Kaitoマンは海苔を計算しています。１枚の海苔が９．８ｃｍだと測ったので、Kaitoマンは「９．８が１で９．８。９．８が２で１９．６。９．８が３で２９．４。９．８が４で３９．２・・・」と頭の中でやります。Torojiro先生はそろばんに精通しているし、トンガで２年間そろばんボランティアをやっていたので、こんな暗算は当たり前の世界ですし、無意識にいつでも何でも計算してしまっている訳ですが、Kaitoマンにはどうやって計算するかまだ教えていないのに、何が起こっているのでしょうか(笑)？？
