「The First YAMANEKO」

１月３日　山ネコ初めだぞ

↑I made the first YAMANEKO this year.

  書初めならぬ山ネコ初めをしました。

↑I made 20 YAMANEKO dolls lately.

  最近２０体の山ネコを作りました。

↑I filled up the bottom of YAMANEKOs with the same clay and small iron bars.

  山ネコの底を同じ粘土と小さな鉄の棒でふさぎました。

↑After I waxed skies and sharpened its edges,

  スキーにワックスをかけてエッジを研いだ後、

↑I moved to my home ski field, Fujimi Panorama.

  富士見パノラマに行きました。

↑Although it was fine, I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji clearly maybe because there is less snow.

　天気が良いのですが、富士山がきれいに見えません。たぶん雪が少ないからでしょうか。

↑I took chair lifts for the first time this year.

  今年初めてリフトに乗りました。

↑I enjoyed snowboard for the first time this season. 

  今シーズン初めてスノボをしました。

↑I continued snowboarding until the gondola finished.

  ゴンドラが終わるまで滑っていました。

  

 

↑On the way back, I visited the Suwa Taisha Shrine.

  帰りに諏訪大社に寄りました。

↑I prayed for our happiness this year and

  今年の幸せを祈り、

↑bought some lucky charms.

  お守りを買いました。

↑I have to reply to New Year’s greeting card for more than 20 people.

  ２０人以上へ年賀状のお返しをしなければいけません・・・
